Noce at La Serpolla

NOCE (Walnut; for 4-6 people) is a 71 m² apartment on the first floor. The large eat-in kitchen features a fireplace, a gallery with a futon sofa bed, and two large windows facing the sunrise. There are two bedrooms with metal-free solid wood beds and a bathroom, all south-facing. All apartments are heated by our wood-fired central heating system. The furnishings are simple, clean, and high-quality. All furniture is made of solid wood, the mattresses of pure natural rubber, and the walls are painted in light colors with organic clay paint. Sustainability is important to us. Upcycling works! Old fruit crates and fishing boats have been transformed into new bedside tables, and old roof beams into beds. Here you can leave everyday life and its hustle and bustle behind. The wild thyme that grows everywhere has given the farm its name: Serpolla. The apartment is exclusively yours; you'll share the outdoor areas, pool, and sauna with us and our other guests. In front of the apartments is a large south-facing terrace with a fire pit. The gardens offer plenty of shady spots, hammocks, swings for all ages, a slackline, a large saltwater pool for swimming, and our wood-fired barrel sauna. You can easily reach Perugia or Terentola-Cortona by train, and we'd be happy to pick you up from either of those locations. The airports in Rome and Florence are also easily accessible by train. We can arrange an airport transfer upon request. The last 4 km are a gravel road, a good "strada bianca," as you'd find in Italy. The final 1.5 km are also passable without four-wheel drive, but the road surface could be better. If this is a concern, there are other parking options available, and we're happy to assist with transfers. We will send you detailed directions.
