Quercia auf La Serpolla

QUERCIA (Blackbird, for 2-4 people) is a maisonette apartment spanning two floors (67 m²). On the ground floor, facing west, is the living room with a fireplace and futon sofa bed, next to the eat-in kitchen. From here, the stairs lead to the first floor, where you'll find the bathroom and the large bedroom with a custom-built timber bed. All apartments are heated by our wood-fired central heating system, ensuring a cozy warmth. Sustainability is important to us. Upcycling works! Old fruit crates and fishing boats have been transformed into new bedside tables, and old roof beams into beds. Here, you can leave the everyday hustle and bustle behind. The wild thyme that grows everywhere has given the farm its name: Serpolla. The apartment is exclusively yours; the outdoor areas, pool, and sauna are shared with us and our other guests. In front of the apartments is a large south-facing terrace with a fire pit. The gardens offer many shady spots, hammocks, swings for all ages, a slackline, a large saltwater swimming pool, and our wood-fired barrel sauna. You can easily reach Perugia or Terentola-Cortona by train, where we would be happy to pick you up. The airports in Rome and Florence are also easily accessible by train. We can also arrange an airport transfer upon request. The last 4 km are a gravel road, a good "strada bianca" as you would find in Italy. The final 1.5 km are also passable without four-wheel drive, but the road surface could be better.
